CONGRATULATIONS to Jim on his recent promotion!

Jim S.Jim S.

Congratulations to Jim on his promotion to Operations Manager of Deployment and Customer Support.  His adventure at BASYS began 7 years ago, and his previous roles include Merchant Specialist, Relationship Manager, and Customer Support Team Lead.

Here are few fun facts about Jim outside of work:

First Car:  1976 Chevrolet Caprice Estate Station Wagon.  Solid steel body, with a wood panel color motif.  Prior to my driving it, I do believe it was present on the beaches of Normandy and/or was the stunt double for Christine in the movie “Christine.”

Favorite Book:  The Odyssey

Favorite Hobby/Thing to do outside of work:  Be active in the community.  I put together a fundraiser every year around the holidays to support Harvesters, which culminates in an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party.  BASYS has been very generous in helping me with this every year.

Favorite Vacation Spot:  Hiawatha, Kansas

Random Facts:  Runner up in People Magazines Sexiest Man of the year 1989, and I also entered the 2002 NBA Draft.  One of these is a truth and one of these is a lie.
